Campus Involvement

Within our organization, our brothers provide a positive impact on the community through their servant leadership and dedication to leaving a profound contribution.

After joining Kappa Delta Sorority my freshman year, I was immediately involved in leadership. This experience made me want to branch out to different organizations on campus and become further involved. I joined Kappa Alpha Pi the Fall Semester of my Sophomore Year, and immediately felt connected to the brotherhood. I served as pledge fundraising chair that first semester in KAPi, and alongside my team we planned a percentage night. This helped me learn how to collaborate with different students from a diverse group of backgrounds, all interested in the same thing I am: pre-law and pre-government. My junior year, I became the president of Kappa Delta which allowed me to elevate my professional and leadership development to a new height. My KAPi brothers were nothing but supportive and so excited for me for when I was elected to this position in my sorority. Being in KAPi has taught me so much about the legal field, which I hope to pursue after graduating. I have met the most amazing people, and gained so many opportunities through both organizations.

Outside of KAPi, I'm involved with UT's Panhellenic Council on campus. Being involved in both organizations, as well as involved in leadership in both organizations, has helped to build a better community here at the university. Getting to know the women who are also involved in both communities has been amazing and we're able to apply what we've learned in each organization to help the other grow! Professionally, being in leadership for both organizations has allowed me to establish a lot of connections within the larger UT community and Knoxville as a whole. Through alumni networks of both KAPi and my Panhellenic sorority, Pi Beta Phi, I was able to gain internships and mentorships, all because I was involved!
